Nandan Quench - A Oil
Description :
Nandan Quench-A is a narrow range petroleum based product fortified with a special polar additive to impart accelerated quenching properties to the quenching oil to meet certain specific requirements. This oil gives required surface hardness to the metals by reducing the vapour phase during the quenching process.
Benefits :
- It gives the desired surface hardness because of the special additive used in the formulation.
- It has high chemical and oxidation stability, and reduces frequent topping up during use.
- It generates relatively low carbon residue.
Application :
Nandan Quench-A is recommended for hardening of a variety of steel tools, ball bearings etc.
Performance Level :
- It meets the requirements of IS 2664 - 99 (RA 2004) - compounded type oil.
